Web 2.0 completed!!!

Long after the closing date I have managed to finish the program and I have learnt an awful lot of interesting stuff.

Web Awards

Well I will have to forget about using Gliffy etc for a family tree now that I have seen the awards for the genealogy sites, they will be much better. This list of top sites will be really useful and save a lot of time searching for sites myself. I looked at the books, food, travel awards and will save the list to my favourites for future use. I think I am finally done!!!

Flow Charts

I have finally tried Gliffy and designed a livingroom. Very easy to use and will go back to it sometime soon to do my family tree. Sent the link to my sister as she will love the floorplans as she is redesigning her holiday house. I can see these sites would be really useful for work and for home.

Newsletters

This was one of the easier exercises I thought and I created a newsletter for the book club that I belong to. Let's see if I can add it to my blog!!!

Oh well not successful this time but never mind I might come back to it when I have more time.

E-Books

E-books look great but I had problems actually reading any as our network prohibited it but I was amazed at how much is available in this format. Could be really useful for remote users if the cost is not prohibitive. I will have a look at this from home and see if access is easy. Out of print material would be great to source. I may find I get sick of reading on the screen as it could be very hard on the eyes but I am keen to give it a try.

And here is a video of my favourite play, Richard III. Sadly it is Laurence Olivier, not my most admired actor. I searched for Andrew Jarvis but no luck!

And another, more serious, Shakespeare video.
